I was deeply touched and inspired by an email I received from Esther Hicks today announcing that her beloved husband Jerry had passed away last Friday, November 18, 2011.
Jerry and Esther Hicks are the couple that brought the teachings of Abraham to the world. They helped me understand the astonishing power of my feelings, how the law of attraction really works, and how to create a most delicious life from joy.

Let the sun shine in
In the last seven weeks, I have been clearing my space, decluttering, organizing, completing projects, sorting, simplifying and beautifying my surroundings.
The impetus for this was a coaching course I’m taking from Coachville which started on April 12. The course is called “World Power Method” and I’m loving it. The objective is to redesign my environments so that they pull me forward into my most joyful fulfilling life. And of course for me, the process must be enjoyable too. It all began two weeks ago. I drove home from bringing the kids to school and the power steering failed in our, once faithful, Camry.

“It can’t work. It just can’t work. There’s no way.” Sarah looked deflated as she described the reasons why she could not move into her dream home.
“Why? You were so excited before.” I was curious about what had changed.
“I just love this community and my furniture would fit perfectly into this space, but it can’t work. I still have four years left on my mortgage and will have to pay a big penalty to end it. I’m working full time and studying in the evenings and I’ve visiting my mother in Florida in two weeks.”
With each consideration, she slumped further in the chair. Her voice got quieter and her shoulders sagged. It was like watching the air seep out of the hot air balloon as the fire died out.
“It’s a great opportunity,” she sighed, “but I can’t afford it and I just don’t have the time.”
